Eggs
1 dozen incredible farm fresh eggs! These eggs are laid by hens that range freely and forage for leaves and bugs. The yolks of these eggs are deep orange (a visual reminder of all the extra beta-carotene you're getting!) and whites are substantial.
Choose from "pullet eggs" (eggs laid by young hens who are just starting to lay) or "nest run" eggs which are laid by our adult hens.
Pullet eggs are brown, little, cute and are considered a true delicacy. They have a higher yolk-to-white ratio making them more nutrient dense. They also have more baking "power" meaning that a small pullet egg can replace a large egg when baking with comparable if not improved results.
Nest run eggs laid by our adult hens come in a wide array of colors, shapes and sizes (often large+). You will find yourself eating lots more eggs once you try these. They are delicious and amazingly nutritious.
